A Safe, Stable and Supportive Home

Supporting Young People

Our approach is centred on providing individualised care and support that promotes safety, emotional wellbeing and understanding.
At Daisy Care Homes, we provide a safe, stable and nurturing home environment where young people feel cared for, respected and supported. Our home offers structure, routine and calm, helping young people feel secure and able to settle.

Safeguarding and Emotional Safety

The safety and wellbeing of young people is our highest priority. Our staff are trained in safeguarding, child protection and trauma-informed practice to ensure risks are managed effectively and concerns are responded to promptly. We maintain clear boundaries, consistent supervision and strong safeguarding oversight.

Emotional and Behavioural Support

We understand that some young people may have experienced difficult or traumatic situations. Our approach is calm, patient and understanding, focusing on support, reassurance and positive relationships. We help young people manage emotions, build coping skills and feel understood.

Education and Daily Routines

We encourage and support engagement in education, training or meaningful daily activities. We work closely with schools and professionals to support attendance, progress and confidence, ensuring young people have structure and positive routines.

Independence and Life Skills

We support young people to develop confidence, life skills and independence at a pace that is right for them. This includes support with daily living, personal organisation, cooking, self-care and preparing for the future.

Partnership Working

We work collaboratively with local authorities, social workers, health services, education providers and, where appropriate, families. This ensures care is coordinated, consistent and in the best interests of each young person.

Individual Support Plans

Each young person has an individual support plan tailored to their needs, strengths and goals. Plans are reviewed regularly with the young person and professionals to ensure support remains appropriate and effective.

Working in Partnership

At Daisy Care Homes, we believe that effective partnership working is essential to achieving positive outcomes for young people. We work closely with local authorities, social workers, education providers, health professionals and other relevant agencies to ensure care is well-planned, coordinated and consistent.

We maintain clear communication, contribute to reviews and planning meetings, and work collaboratively to meet each young person’s individual needs. Where appropriate and in line with care planning, we also work with families and significant people to support stability and continuity of care.
